Carlos Tevez leaves West Ham

West Ham are today expected to confirm that a deal has been reached with the Argentinian wonderboy Carlos Tevez to release him from his contract and registration.

The agreement which will also need to be signed off by the FA should see West Ham getting anywhere between £1m-£3m in compensation leaving Tevez free to transfer to Manchester United before the start of the season.

United have expresed a desire to take Tevez on a similar loan package as Javier Mascherano's transfer to Liverpool last season. Although the Mascherano deal took some weeks to complete, it is expected that Tevez will transfer to United much quicker as preparation has already been made by United & Tevez's lawyers.

I for one, can't wait to see him on the pitch at Old Trafford...
